These Food and Drug Administration (FDA) developments recently came in:
Recall: Telmisartan Tablets
Alembic Pharmaceuticals Inc. is voluntarily recalling 1 lot of telmisartan tablets, 20 mg, packaged in 30-count bottles. The product is being recalled due to a market complaint received which stated that 1 bottle labelled as 20 mg telmisartan tablets incorrectly contained 40 mg telmisartan tablets. Telmisartan is used for the treatment of hypertension.
